Nicci Talbot is a writer, editor, and content designer based in the UK. With more than 20 years of experience producing multichannel content across print, digital, and social platforms, she has written for many national newspapers, magazines, websites, and agencies and published 12 books on health & lifestyle.
Her mission: making things people love to use. Solving your business problems using better communication. In March 2020, she created The Shift → The Field Guide to the Future of Work and Living. Weekly curated tools + resources for writers – thinkers, makers, and builders. Work Better. Live Smarter. Be Happier 🙂
Nicci’s recent projects include The Science of Growing Up Happy, a book for Nestlé, The Shift, a newsletter for creative businesses, and content and communications for regular clients, including the GCVA, National Union of Journalists, and Hoxby Creative Studio.
As a committee member of NUJ London Freelance Branch and Freelance Industrial Council, she helps with campaigns to support journalists, and events and training for 4k freelance members. She is a resident of the RSA, the House of Beautiful Business and AllBright women’s network and supports a sister via Women for Women International.
Ever curious, she is training in UX writing + content design with the UX Writers’ Collective. Reuniting humans and technology.
